Home Health And Comfort At Home

Home Health Is A Concept Overlooked In Home Decor

When one begins to look into home decor or design often home health is overlooked. We often tie comfort at home to the visual aesthetics as they do go together. Yet comfort can be defined in more than one way.

A comfort within the home should provide health benefits as well as the visual and physical appeal we seek. This requires more than a cute house.

Since the recent pandemic which has swept the world people have shifted their focus to principles such as these.

With more people working from home, or attempting to do so, there arrives a necessity for this that was never there before. It is time to get rid of those things which are not beneficial to us.

Much of this resides within our habits which result in our living conditions.

A Cluttered Home Is Not Good For Home Health

It does not matter how well decorated your home is, or how much art you display, if the home is cluttered with too many things.

I have dealt with a minimalist mindset before yet this article here speaks to habits we form. One can be a minimalist and still have a cluttered home.

Being neat and clean is a relative thing based upon ones personality. It shouldn’t stop anyone from taking care of the obvious.

The problem is that as people spend more time at home the more difficult it becomes. As a space is lived in more objects within the home are interacted with thus producing more mess.

When one works within their home and it also is the place of living and relaxation the pressures become compounded. Stay at home mom’s understand this aspect of life very well.

No matter how much one does it never seems to be enough. So what are the solutions?

Aside from attempting to clean more, we can begin to remove the objects which are unnecessary that contribute to the clutter. Useless decoration that takes up space providing no value to function should be considered in relocation into storage.

In this way alternative items which provide organization can be given consideration for that space.

The more needless items which simply reside sitting on a shelf require more attention in eventual cleaning. As these items absorb space there is less to go around from an increased interaction in daily functions.

Suddenly the decor contributes to the clutter rather than being pretty.

Locations like your bedroom should be your sacred space. It is where you can step into your own world to get away. Art and the room being clean should go together here to help your state of mind.

Assess the floor plan of the home and the furniture within it. What is used most often and what can be sacrificed for added floor space?

Opening an area to more space aids in the visual appeal and feel of the home. It becomes less to move around in obstacles for basic daily functions.

Streamline the flow of your floor plan. Once you have removed unnecessary items you may shift the layout of furniture to be more accessible.

Rather than pushing many pieces together, allow more space between them to give a feel of more freedom.

Repair basic things within the home that are a nuisance. Small things add up. Simple repairs not only return proper function to the home but also add a sense of direction feeling improvement.

Allowing these small agitations to continue create points of frustration that compound over time.

Creating A Balance In Atmosphere For Home Health

When working from home create zones for different purposes. It is best to not work and relax within the same space.

Have that space designated for a purpose. Hold that space to that purpose and decorate accordingly to its function.

This provides a way to balance the mindset and emotions for what one is doing. It helps get in the zone as so to speak for the activity needed.

Work should be work and separate from relaxation.

The invention of play rooms by many moms was an invention of necessity for this balance. If we do not apply this principle to ourselves it becomes like children being given the whole house for play.

The toys become left within every room and the mess unmanageable.

If we can isolate our work to our work space then the mess we create within that zone for that part of the day is singular in impact. The longterm benefit for the home life makes it easier to manage.

Likewise our relaxation space does not become cluttered decreasing its benefit to letting the day go.

Redecorating For Home Health Using Natural Elements And Art

Aside from the things we could do better from day to day interaction, it may be time to redecorate. Thinking natural with what we place into our homes will pay dividends.

Live plants are an essential component even if small in nature to providing well being. Art itself can be used for therapy at home when used properly.

Assess the decorations on your walls. It should provide you with the ability to gain inspiration while aiding in relaxation. This is done by the atmosphere it helps in providing.

One may wish to consider the minimalist wall art concepts that many employ. Remove things which do not give you the benefits that you need.

If you can afford going the extra mile it would do well to consider inspirational wall art. Something that is a standard above the cheap aisle of Hobby Lobby.

Allowing it to become a centerpiece for the wall begins to further aid in creating the atmosphere you may need.

Set your dining room apart from other rooms. Give it a different feel that is unique from the rest of the home.

Allow it to carry its own energy surrounded by memories of the past and family. Keep it cleaned so that it does not create a frustration from dirty dishes or messy countertops.

The kitchen can be a hub or source for family interaction. It does not need to be the utilitarian function of just food prep.

These subtle differences can improve your mindset through the day offering an alternative environment to spend time in.

Focus on aesthetic room ideas for your home. Natural objects extend to more than merely plants.

Wood art within the home bring nature into your life as well. There is a subtle connection to nature and beauty which offers an appeal as you interact with them.

Allow me to explain further.

If one were to eat with plastic spoons and forks you feel as though you are a child at the family pick-nick. Having real silverware is an altogether different feel.

While both provide the same function there is a difference in what that feel gives you. What you place within the home as you interact with it is the same.

These nice objects do not all need to be expensive. Often woodworkers who make unique items such as bowls or serving boards can be had inexpensively.

How much one wishes to invest into that quality and customization will vary. Yet the collective impact inexpensive items can give you towards health is important.

Consider allowing more for your inspirational decoration by developing some kind of system for family wall decor. In this way you are able to create a space designated for family photos.

In turn you are able to add more inspirational pieces to the spaces that you need for the benefit of the family.

Home Health Is About What We Create

Home health encompasses more than we realize. Certainly things that come to mind initially may focus on germs or cleaning.

Perhaps air purification is something one may think of. Yet our mental and emotional impact must be accounted for as well.

As we move through our day each little item may have a small impact. Yet the cumulative effect of each impact will add to stress or take away from it across time.

Further added influence from day to day accumulation especially if working at home begins to compound.

The atmosphere we create is essential in providing a way to balance this impact. No home will ever be perfect. No environment will ever have all the things we need.

Yet it is in doing the things we can by controlling what we can afford to use to our benefit that matters.

Making small changes can add up in how the overall family will feel in time. Removing agitations while inserting more positive elements can influence behavioral outcomes.

Yes it is true ultimately behavior is choice. Yet how one sets an environment can give a predisposition to one direction or another.

For example if one has an issue with self image having mirrors in every room may not be the best option. One can work on their image to then build up to having mirrors if you like them.

Yet why purposefully do something that ultimately has a negative impact with every room you walk into?

Adding elements from art therapy whether self made or selected by inspiration aid greatly here. By replacing an element which negatively impacts you with something positive it acts as a form of depression art.

Defining a space requires more than merely decorating it to be pretty. Your home should provide something to you in return for what you put into it.

This is irrespective of how big or small it may be. What a homes dollar value is does not reflect the value it can provide to you when its space is defined properly.

Why Listen To Interior Decorators When Choices Impact Our Home Health?

In the title to this section I actually mean its context in a negative way. The ideas interior decorators come up with is essentially nothing more than an attempt to push a product.

How you drape your home will directly impact your home health. It may be better to look to artists of history rather than cheap corporate merchants.

I have written extensively on art and its movements across time. There is one consistent thread among these movements.

Ultimately artists define a period of time. The decorators come behind us trying to sell products based upon the trend which the artists have made.

I am by no means trying to sell my ideas in home decoration. Yet I am an artist.

What is the point of decorating your home if it is without a purpose? A home should be considered as a blank canvass.

It is your personal painting, sculpture, wood carving, or design. It is your work of art.

If it does not work for you then it is not serving its purpose and function within your life.

I will never claim to be a voice in home design or decor. Yet as an artist I know what makes sense and works in real time for real people.

I see what provides inspiration and beauty. In turn how these things impact our lives becomes clear.

I have often steered away from the HGTV kind of life. Some ideas they have are great. Others are not so much.

The real question is what is it that is right for you and your family? Ultimately only you can answer those questions.

I often provide ideas and concepts which take one in a direction of health, beauty, and inspiration. Yet I do not give products or designs saying this is your solution.

This next goes into how we form our habits.

Home Health Requires New Habits Formed In Life

Stop the impulse buying or selecting items for your home because they are pretty. Begin to ask what it gives you.

Is it worthy of the space that you will give to it? Does it provide a function? Perhaps it can bring more organization to your life.

If we were to add the amount of money wasted on general decor that is thrown away after one year of service it would be shocking.

Streamlining your home based upon value put into it due to what you bring in also adds more money to your bank account. In turn if you so choose one can later obtain greater things of value having nicer things.

Having the nice things in life is more than brand or being pretty. Real value is measured by what that something gives you.

Work on forming new habits that serve you rather than you serving a bad habit. The end impact will revolutionize how you see your home and its impact within the life of your family.

I know that modern artists may not be as valuable today in developing trends as artists once were in history. My voice is small in its impact when compared to the big tv names.

Yet I still will continue to push for what may be best for people and often that is contrary to what a brand may desire.
