Baroque Art held its origin within Rome. The reason for its birth though is a bit unique from other arts. Where other forms of art held a more natural evolution, Baroque was more engineered.

The impression and feeling is derived by the Order of the parts speaking to that theme, subject matter, artistic expression, or story the artist is telling.
The Romantic period came as a response to two issues within history. The first was the thinking behind Baroque Art and Classicism did not fit the common mans shift to Romanticism.
A break away from the Age of Enlightenment was desired by many. Romanticism in art was a natural evolution as the result.
